Ian Kovalesky was a member of the Force and joined he Rangers after marriage to Ritva Havel. Born in Rycroft (northeast Peace River country) in the north of the Dominion of Drumheller (formerly north-central Alberta).

Ian was a member of a squad escorting Ritva Havel across the Dominion of Drumheller when their vehicle was intercepted by Cutters. The party fell back to the Anchor Bar Seven ranch, where a major battle ensued.
