The Meeting was a concept agreed to by the warring parties at the conclusion of the War of the Eye. The Corvallis City State was designated to host the periodic gathering. It was later noted that the Meeting served well at keeping members from doing things but served poorly at initiating action.
The Meeting did, however, act to mount the operation aimed at occupying Pendleton.
